Political Action

Effective political activism aimed at protecting the interests of ASPPA members requires a unique entity. That is why ASPPA PAC was founded in 1998. ASPPA PAC supports the government affairs arm of ASPPA, which develops and promotes ASPPA’s formal positions with lobbying, comment letters and expert testimony on issues pending before legislative and regulatory bodies.
As a corporation, ASPPA is prohibited from contributing to federal political candidates. So, ASPPA PAC was established to give ASPPA members a way to band together to maximize their support for candidates for federal office who are interested in advancing the employer-based retirement system. Contributions to ASPPA PAC can be made only by ASPPA members, employees of ASPPA and the family members of such.
ASPPA PAC supports candidates for federal elective offices who have demonstrated their support for the private retirement system. ASPPA PAC supports ASPPA Government Affairs in its efforts to communicate the importance of employer-sponsored retirement plans to elected federal officials. ASPPA PAC supports ASPPA’s advocacy for improvements in pension policies, appropriate regulation and preservation of the private pension system.
Your contributions to the PAC are critical to our efforts. ASPPA PAC “opens the door” and allows ASPPA to help elect and re-elect those lawmakers who work with us on pension issues. We need your continued support! Please make a PAC contribution today!
